Directions & Parking

The Menai Seafood Festival will take place in the small town of Menai Bridge, Anglesey, which sits on the water’s edge alongside the Thomas Telford Bridge.

Menai Bridge is easily accessible from the A487 from the Caernarfon/Porthmadog direction, or the A5, coming from the Bangor direction.

Local buses that stop in Menai Bridge include the 4, 4X, 4A, 42, 43, 44, 44A, 53, 57, 58, 62 and 63.

The nearest train stations to Menai Bridge are the Llanfairpwll and Bangor Railway stations.

Parking

On Saturday the 30th of August there will be several road closures and limited parking due to the Menai Seafood Festival Local Produce Market.

The following roads in Menai Bridge will be closed on Saturday the 30th of August 6am-9pm: St George’s Road, Water Street and the Promenade. The Bulkley car park will only be available for stallholder and disabled parking on this day.

Several Park and Ride schemes will be in place on Saturday the 30th of August, from the local Four Crosses car park, Ysgol David Hughes car park and the Bangor City Football Club car park, with coaches running every ten minutes to the Festival. All in all, approximately 1400 out of town spaces will be available so visitors are strongly encouraged to use the Park and Ride scheme.
